NCUK Foundation
The NCUK International Foundation Year is a modular programme that will prepare you for first-year entry to undergraduate degree courses. You will study a combination of modules that fit in with your degree destination. There are five pathways available:
- Business
- Computer Science*
- Humanities
- Engineering
- Science

All NCUK programmes also include a specialist English for Academic Purposes module designed to equip you with the language ability and study skills that will give you a head start on your undergraduate degree in the UK. Studying a foundation programme at Â鶹ÊÓƵ is very different to studying at larger foundation providers or universities. Our highly personalised approach offers the most supportive setting for students studying in the UK for the first time allowing them to achieve their goals and ambitions.

Course Details
Available at: Â鶹ÊÓƵ London, Â鶹ÊÓƵ Birmingham and Â鶹ÊÓƵ Cambridge
Age: 17+
English language level:Ìý
- September start: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent (with no less than 5.0 in any single band)
- January start: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (with no less than 5.5 in any single band)
Academic entry requirements: Completion of 12 years of schooling (or local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades
Programme length: 2 or 3 terms, start dates in September or January (the 2 term format is available at Â鶹ÊÓƵ Birmingham only)
Fees for 2024/25:
- Â鶹ÊÓƵ London: £30,700
- Â鶹ÊÓƵ Birmingham: £22,450 (2 or 3 term option)
- Â鶹ÊÓƵ Cambridge: £24,950
Fees include all NCUK registration, exams and placement support.
