Â鶹ÊÓƵ offers retake courses over 5 different start date/course duration combinations:
Full-year retake courses
One-year courses for students who have fallen substantially short of their target grades and who require thorough revision of multiple units, often over more than one subject.
Short retake courses
4 different options with start dates in either September or January for students who have narrowly missed their target grades and/or require retakes of only a small number of selected units – suits students wishing to pursue gap-year activities for part of the year.

At GCSE there are limited options for students to study for examination in English Language in November and Mathematics in January. These courses are only suitable for those students who have narrowly missed grade C at first attempt.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ offer both one-year GCSE courses and short retake courses.ÌýStudents resitting selected units on short courses will often stick to the same exam board as they have sat before, whereas those studying on one-year courses will typically transfer to Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s preferred exam board and take the full suite of units that are available.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ offers numerous learning opportunities. Our courses range from GCSE, A level to the International Foundation Programme. Many students also come to us to help improve their grades with our One-to-One tuition, Retakes and Easter revision courses.
Classroom facilities are designed to make the most of our teaching model of fewer than 10 students per group – seminar configurations and tutor presentations via whiteboard, interactive whiteboard or group discussion.
Each of our colleges has a student common room or internet cafe providing a more relaxed environment for both study and leisure and is equipped with computers for student use.
Student life
Our students enjoy a range of extra-curricular activities enabling them to develop their intellectual, sporting and cultural interests. Getting involved in a college related activity is a great way to make friends, develop and demonstrate your skills and interests and help you stand out from the crowd when you apply to university.
